We like to get our strategic plans onto one page. That’s about all anyone else can process these days, and it’s a useful exercise in editing the plan down to something simple enough for others to repeat. When the plan is that clear and referenceable, it actually gets activated—unlike a 74-page slide deck that sits unused in a folder somewhere.
